Jakarta — Political analyst Ujang Komaruddin believes that the transition period with President-elect Prabowo Subianto preparing to take office on October 20, 2024, has started promisingly. Ujang is optimistic about Prabowo’s leadership, as shown in the latest Indikator Politik survey, where 83.4% of the public expresses confidence in Prabowo’s upcoming administration.
Ujang stated, “I have always believed that Prabowo’s leadership would receive public support. This is evident in the survey, with 83.4% of the public having confidence in Prabowo’s government. This positive start demonstrates that the Indonesian people trust Prabowo to lead the country towards a better future in the next five years.”
According to the Indikator data, 84.3% of respondents believe that Prabowo will bring improvements to Indonesia compared to the current administration.
Ujang attributes this strong public belief to Prabowo’s sincerity and determination to elevate Indonesia’s standing both nationally and internationally.
He explained, “Prabowo’s sincerity in nation-building, his efforts to enhance the country, and his commitment to positioning Indonesia as a global player have earned the trust of the public.”
Ujang also predicts that this positive momentum will facilitate Prabowo’s governance once he assumes office.
“Prabowo has the capacity to lead Indonesia towards justice, prosperity, and progress beyond the previous administration,” Ujang added.
Consequently, the public has faith that Prabowo will prioritize the welfare of the people in shaping Indonesia’s future.
Ujang concluded, “This initial appreciation for Prabowo strengthens his determination to collaborate with the people in constructing a fair and prosperous Indonesia.” (RR)
