Among those eagerly waiting to greet him was Nadine Ardiani Chairunisa, an Indonesian student studying Marketing Communication at Amity University, who had been waiting since 5pm. Accompanied by her fellow student Demas Fadel Anggara, they described the experience as exciting despite some delays. Other Indonesians present, such as Rajendra, Marvell, and Adyatama, expressed their gratitude for Prabowo shaking their hands upon arrival. They shared their hopes for a successful working visit in India and a promising future under Prabowo’s leadership.
Prabowo’s visit to India not only marks a new phase in bilateral relations but also commemorates the 75th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between Indonesia and India. Prior to his departure from Jakarta, Prabowo expressed his pride in being invited as the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, considering it a great honor for Indonesia. He emphasized the participation of Indonesian TNI troops in the event, showcasing the strong ties between the two nations. The visit also includes planned meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss enhancing cooperation on various strategic issues.
