President-elect for the term 2024-2029, Prabowo Subianto, attended the Technical Training and National Coordination Meeting of the Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) in Jakarta. During the event at JW Luwansa, South Jakarta, on Thursday night (9/5), Prabowo praised President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) for his sincerity and assistance, despite being rivals in the 2014 and 2019 presidential elections.
Prabowo mentioned that Jokowi had helped him by instructing his ministers to provide data to support Prabowo’s future government responsibilities. Jokowi also advised Prabowo to introduce himself to world leaders and emphasized the importance of foreign investments to support economic growth.
Prabowo expressed his gratitude towards Jokowi, stating, “I am grateful to Mr. Jokowi, he truly is a sincere leader. He has assisted me.” He also highlighted the significance of investments for economic growth, job creation, and the need for factories in Indonesia.
Prabowo shared that he works diligently every day to learn about issues and study various problems, in preparation for his upcoming role as President.
