Jakarta — A student who is benefitting from the Free Nutritious Meals program has written a letter to Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. This information was shared through an Instagram post by Gibran on his official account, @Gibran_rakabuming, on Wednesday (Oct. 23).
In the post, Hanif Mummtaz, an elementary school student, expressed that the letter was specifically written to offer prayers for the two leaders.
“I hope Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Gibran stay healthy,” he said with a smile.
After saying his prayer, Hanif continued to enjoy his free nutritious meal. When asked if he liked the food, he immediately replied, “It’s delicious,” while munching away.
In another post on Thursday (Oct. 24), Gibran visited another school that is benefitting from the program, SMP Negeri 270 Jakarta. The meal served included fried chicken, tempeh, stir-fried long beans, white rice, and fruit.
“In line with the direction of President @Prabowo, ensuring nutritious meals from a young age is a crucial and important program for the nation’s future. It will enhance students’ focus and overall health,” Gibran stated. (RR)
